This mixture is a combination of various nutrients in order to provide multiple nutrients to the soil and plant in one go. Mixtures are generally ideal to use when soil or crop lacks more than one nutrients and showing various symptoms for the same. These mixtures can be multi element. For example, 5 element Micro Nutrient mixtures might contain Zinc, Iron (Ferrous), Magnesium, Copper and Molybdenum in different percentages. All the elements are mostly present in their salt forms, salts might be sulfate salts, chloride salts,nitrate salts or any other, but generally sulfate salts are most used.

Unlike Micro Nutrient Mixtures, Single Component Micro Nutrients contain a single element which crop or soil may lack and show symptoms for the same. These are generally used when lack of one element is the major concern and using Micro Nutrients Mixtures either will not satisfy the need or will promote the excess of other elements in soil or crop. These elements are mostly present in their salt forms, salts might be sulfate salts, chloride salts,nitrate salts or any other, but generally sulfate salts are most used.

Liquid Micro Nutrient Mixtures are also the combination of various elements that are needed by the soil or crop and symptoms can be seen for the same, but these are available in liquid form.
